Our client, a global organisation and leader in the finance and technology sector, is seeking highly motivated individual with a keen interest in data management and workflow integration along with a passion for providing exceptional client service to join their team for an exciting project. This is a temporary contract until June 2025 with an immediate start date. This is a remote role with initial onsite training in the City of London.

This position involves directly engaging with issuers to implement and manage a new data classification system for Structured Notes. The candidate will be the primary point of contact for issuers, ensuring their products are accurately ingested and integrated into the Business Systems Management (BSM) tools. They will independently manage the quality control process, handle client escalations, and ensure seamless data workflow throughout the trade lifecycle.

They will use these skills to develop, manage, and ensure the integrity of data systems, playing a key role in empowering the clients to make well-informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a classification of all Structured Notes and develop schema for them. You will work on the pilot and manage the most popular template.
  • Work with issuers to ingest the products using this new schema.
  • Integrate it into BSM using studio tools and making the classification available
  • Apply problem-solving skills to manage the financial data, identify innovative workflow efficiencies, and establish links with key players in the financial market.
  • Maintain, improve, and deliver accurate, high-quality information.
  • Assist with escalations from clients (through emails, Autodesk, Sales).
  • Continue to prioritise the on-boarding and maintenance of new issuers onto the automated platform.
  • Work on quality checks for data, anomaly detection, data extraction and more.
  • Make use of your collaborative approach and exceptional relationship building and communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Develop subject matter expertise within the Structured Products (all asset class) space, and a variety of Client's internal software functions.
  • Ensure consistency, quality and timely product delivery while providing excellent service to internal and external customers.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor or/and Master's degree in Finance/Economics or equivalent work experience.
  • A basic understanding of structured products, understanding of how they work from inception to maturity (training will be provided).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for client management.
  • Strong attention to detail and high degree of proven decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a frequently changing environment.
  • Keen interest in financial markets is essential.
  • Experience in dealing with databases, XML schemas, json files is good to have.
  • Genuine commitment to this role and desire to progress.
