This role is a Fixed-Term opportunity for 12 months to support a well valued Pharmaceutical Business through a maternity leave. This would be a good opportunity for an experienced HR Generalist with corporate experience experience to come in and support an agile team within all operational HR duties.

Client Details

Our client is a well valued and agile Pharmaceutical organisation based in Slough. This role will sit within a fairly small team with large amounts of partnership with the HR Director and HR Business Partner while also supporting the Talent Acquisition team and the Senior Leadership team within the business. This role allows for a high level of involvement at the operational level of HR as well as large exposure across the company.

Description

The HR Generalist/Coordinator (Maternity Cover) will be responsible for:

  • Full responsibility for the employee lifecycle of circa 100 employees including but not limited to - Managing onboarding and offboarding processes, processing new hires, leavers and changes, inside and outside Workday, managing benefits platform enrolment and terminations, managing long term sickness and absences within Workday, arranging and facilitating company inductions, managing family related leave process, and coordination i.e. maternity, paternity etc, creating ad hoc letters, i.e. references, changes to contract, spot awards etc. and more
  • Supporting the payroll team by managing the payroll and benefits supplier relationship as well as compiling and signing off monthly payroll and consolidate files and more
  • Generating and analysing reports
  • Creating purchase orders and reconciling invoices
  • Supporting HR Directors and HR Business Partners where necessary
  • Play an active role in internal culture & wellbeing committee
  • Management of Healthcare provider invoices and employee data
  • Assistance with Intern Programme and supporting HR Business Partner with delivery of engagement sessions throughout the year
  • Any adhoc support to the HR, Talent Acquisition and Senior Leadership teams within the Slough site

Profile

The ideal HR Generalist/Coordinator (Maternity Cover) will have the following skills/qualities:

  • Seasoned HR Generalist with experience across all levels of Operational HR
  • Confidence to work effectively alone and advise stakeholders/answer queries
  • Previous experience within a Pharmaceutical or Corporate business will be ideal but not a necessity
  • Discrete, and able to maintain high levels of confidentiality and diplomacy
  • High level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail
  • Dynamic and agile approach to workload in a busy environment
  • Immediately Available/Available on short notice

Job Offer

The HR Generalist/Coordinator (Maternity Cover) will receive:

  • A competitive salary - up to £40,000 per annum depending on experience
  • Hybrid Working - 3 days a week in office with these being Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
  • 12 Month contract

  • 25 days holiday plus a further 3 additional days tagged as "celbratory days"
  • Flexible working hours - 37.5 hours a week can be worked with flexible start and end times with core hours being 10am-3pm
