Because We currently have a Production Operative role available at Launcestonfora leading provider of sustainable packaging solutions, paper products, and recycling services worldwide.

  • Role - Production Operative (Night)
  • Job Type: Full Time, Contractual, Until January 2025 initially with the view for extension
  • Pay: £15.38 per hour for the first 12 weeks then £19.40 per hour
  • OT 1 X1.5 = £23.07 per hour and OT 2 is x2= £30.76per hour
  • Shifts: 40 hours in a week Mon - Thurs 2200 - 0600 & Fri 1600 - 2100 (Including 45 min of paid breaks on Mon - Thurs and 15 mins on Fri)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery and equipment in a manufacturing/production environment.
  • Follow Standard Safe Operating Procedures (SSOW) and UK Health and Safety legislation.
  • Perform routine checks and maintenance on machinery.

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation and Standard Safe Operating Procedures (SSOW).
  • Forklift Truck (FLT) Licence preferred. Training can be provided if necessary.
