Overview
As a Personal Tax Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the tax affairs of individual clients within our client's Witney-based practice. Your responsibilities will include providing expert tax advice, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and delivering exceptional service to their clients.
Responsibilities

Client Portfolio Management:

Manage a portfolio of private clients, including individuals, sole traders, partnerships, [and a small number of trusts]

Prepare and review self-assessment and partnership tax returns.

Calculate tax liabilities and identify tax planning opportunities.

Handle client queries promptly and professionally.

Correspond with HMRC as required.

Liaise directly with clients to build strong relationships.

Tax Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure accurate and timely preparation of personal tax returns.

Handle capital gains computations.

Assist with ad hoc advisory work as needed.

Collaborate with Senior Managers and Partners.

Tax Planning and Strategy:

Provide expert advice on personal tax matters.

Develop innovative tax planning strategies.

Stay informed about changes in tax legislation.

Advise clients on areas such as Capital Gains Tax and Property Tax.
Qualifications and Skills
- Relevant tax qualifications (e.g., ATT, CTA) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of personal tax regulations.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
