Description
As a Finance Manager reporting to the Financial Director and working alongside an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Manage the company's financial planning and budgeting processes
- Oversee, review, and adhere to the budgets for each business department
- Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
- Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation
- Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
- Develop plans for financial growth and analyse market trends to maximise profits
- Supervise a team of accountants to ensure smooth financial operations
- Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies
Profile
- Have completed AAT or be qualified by experience
- Excellent organisation skills and a hands-on approach, with the ability to prioritise workload efficiently
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the finance department
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong ethics, with a customer-oriented attitude
- Great communication skills
