Sports Marketer

Location: Wimbledon

Salary: £40,000-£45,000 + Bonus + Company Car

My client is looking for a Sports Brand Marketer with a passion for Tennis and all things racquet sport, to define, implement and coordinate the marketing plan and budget of the brand in UK and Ireland. You will be developing the business in the places of practices and ensuring the visibility of the brand. The purpose is to drive the brand online in the UK and Ireland through the creation of local and National content both on and offline .

Responsibilities:

Responsibility of the marketing budget construction and follow-up, with the country manager.

Build the annual marketing plan and budget, following the global strategy and adapting to the local specificities whilst implementing and following up the activations with the team.

Follow-up and with all stakeholders to ensure to deliver the annual company budget.

Close work with the community managers to relay local content, ambassadors / players content, and activation of local influencers and communicating with our different targets (B2C, Coaches and Retailers) via email.

Plan and deliver the merchandising tools, in collaboration with the sales representatives.

Ensure visibility in the stores, create activations with clients.

Organise regular products tests sessions / animations in partner clubs & events.

Define the best recruitment strategy with the country manager whilst recruiting and signing contracts with local players and juniors.

Maintain and create business relationships with clients and prospect clients.

Analyse activity of the competitors on the field.

Coordination and participation in global projects, providing feedback/ ideas and implementing the actions decided in the market.

Participation in global Brand Activation seminars to provide local input.

Skills and Experience

At least 2 to 3 years' experience in marketing or sports marketing

Knowledge of the tennis world in UK.

Ability to negotiate contracts and deal with commercial conditions.

Good relational building skills

Teamwork, ability to establish a positive relationship with his colleagues

Ability to work in an international environment
