Leachate Treatment Plant Manager

Salary - £38,773 - £45,615 per annum (plus benefits)

Hours - 37.5 hours per week, 8.30am to 5.00pm

Location Postcode - MK3 5FR

As a Leachate Treatment Plant Manager at FCC Environment, you will ensure the Leachate Treatment Plant (LTP) operates in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with its permissions, having proper regard to environmental issues, Plant efficiency and cost effectiveness of leachate disposal from leachate feeder sites.

This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week, however, we will consider requests for job shares to suit your lifestyle (working full days).

What will you be doing?

- Ensure the LTP is operated in accordance with all Health and Safety requirements
- Ensure waste streams entering the plant are processed in accordance with legal requirements
- Take responsibility for the management and process control of the LTP
- Control the repair and maintenance procedures of equipment on-site
- Implement and maintain a Site Management System
- Obtain and keep under review sufficient process and environmental monitoring data
- Conduct the sampling and testing of samples at the LTP
- Help specify the relevant plant and equipment required to manage leachate on sites
- Project manage leachate related infrastructure works
