Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a very well established business based in the Guildford, Surrey area. The Payroll Specialist will be working in the in house Payroll team and also working closely with HR. The Payroll Specialist will lead the monthly payroll, expenses, benefit changes, liaising with HMRC etc. This is a great varied Payroll position.
Salary: up to £40K + excellent benefits
Location: Hybrid working - 3 days office based in Guildford, Surrey
Hours: 35 hour working week
Payroll duties:
- Support the Payroll and HR team in the delivery of an accurate monthly payroll
- Assist with the submission of HMRC RTI reporting
- Support with payment of Taxes at the end of each payroll period
- Complete P11D reporting, P60 / P45 etc
- Importing new starters to the payroll, salary and cash allowances, and reconciling values with HR reports
- Reconciling PAYE and completing payment paperwork
- Checking and processing expense claims
- Payroll and benefits administration
- Supporting the Payroll queries
Skills and experience:
- Previous experience of working in a similar Payroll position
- In house payroll experience prefered
- Good organisation skills, ability to work to tight deadlines
