Length: 12 months initial (2-3 year scope)
Rate: £700-£800/d inside IR35
Location: London (hybrid - 3 days per week in office)
X4 Technology are partnered with a leading oil major who are offering the opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join them on a day-rate contract basis. As Senior Project Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a global, multi-year programme of work to transform their scheduling and planning across supply and commercial operations (barges, rail, pipelines, trucks, etc).
You'll be leading a multimillion pound implementation of a new vendor solution for scheduling and planning. The RFP process is in-flight, so the key focus for the successful candidate will be leading a large development team across both the UK and India to ensure successful delivery of the solution across the client's global business.
Requirements for the Project Manager (Scheduling & Planning)
- Proven experience leading international, large-scale, multi-million pound budget technology transformation programmes within oil, gas or energy firms (or trading houses)
- Specific experience leading the implementation of scheduling and planning software solutions
- Experience within physical commodity trading environments
- Strong technical knowledge
