Working Hours : Monday – Friday, 08:00-16:00

THE ROLE
You will support the IT Manager and act as a point of escalation for two Service Desk Engineers, ensuring the overall upkeep and maintenance of the IT infrastructure across the 1st and 2nd line.
- Provide 2nd line support for IT infrastructure, addressing and resolving complex issues escalated from the Service Desk Engineers.
- Manage and maintain the Microsoft 365 environment, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Assist the IT Manager in maintaining and improving the IT environment, ensuring systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Support the implementation of new projects, including the rollout of a new phone system and the introduction of a new ERP.
- Collaborate with the Service Desk Engineers to provide guidance and support, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT infrastructure issues, including hardware, software, and network-related problems.
- Document processes, procedures, and solutions to improve efficiency and knowledge sharing within the team.
YOUR SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate will have approximately 4+ years in IT support, with significant experience working across the 2nd line. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in a similar senior IT support role, with strong 2nd line support skills.
- Extensive expertise in Office 365 administration and security, with a solid technical background.
- Proficiency in the Office 365 application suite (including Azure, Intune, SharePoint, and Power Apps) and End-User Computing.
- Experience with IT infrastructure maintenance, including hardware, software, and network systems.
- Familiarity with project management and the ability to support the implementation of new IT projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to act as a point of escalation for complex issues.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritizing workload to meet deadlines.
