REED are exclusively recruiting a Permanent Accounts Clerk for a fast growing, multi site electrical wholesale business, with all aspects of accounts and company administration handled centrally by their accounts team.

Accounts Clerk

£25,000 per annum - 30 hours per week, Office Based in Poole

The role will include both sales ledger and purchase ledger responsibilities as well as data entry (invoice matching) to ensure suppliers are paid on time.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an accounts office and will be happy to pitch in and help out with the day to day jobs and challenges faced by the team.

Permanent accounts office role

This role is more varied and will cover various aspects of accounts office work to include

  • Purchase ledger (data entry, coding overheads to the nominal ledger, debit notes, supplier statement reconciliations)
  • Sales Ledger ( taking customer payments over the phone, allocating sales ledger receipts)
  • Admin ( part of a team dealing with day to day admin issues, management of accounts/admin email inbox)
  • Adhoc accounts work and projects.

Pay and Benefits

30 hours per week. This can be worked reasonably flexibly between Monday and Friday (7:30 to 17:30)

25 days per annum paid holiday on a FTE basis, pro-rated for part time hours
