We are working on behalf of one of the most diverse manufacturing companies in Europe looking to expand their West Midlands sites with the recruitment of an experienced Quality Inspector. This is an excellent long-term opportunity to join an established British manufacturer with a history of investment and diversification at a point when they are succession planning and future proofing.
As an experienced Quality Inspector, your primary focus will be to assist the quality team in supporting the manufacturing processes to create and maintain the highest standards of operations, enhance production output and ensure an efficient and timely production.
The role of the Quality Inspector:-
- Detailed inspection of all items produced.
- Ensuring all finished products meets quality and safety standards specified.
- Logging and reporting faults/pass rates using approved documents.
- Assisting management in analysing and evaluating fault rates.
- Play an active part in the ongoing development of the quality management system.
- Liaising with production team to ensure all identified faults are rectified to acceptable standards.
In support of this role your skills, expertise and experience should include:
- Previous quality inspection experience ideally in a forging environment.
- The ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- The ability to use and select measuring equipment.
- Previous experience working with quality management systems.
