Senior PMO Analyst - Platform Migration - Financial Services - Agile
£350-400/day (Umbrella) - Inside IR35
5 Month Initial Contract (Likely extensions)
2 days a month on site in Hampshire
This PMO Analyst will join a major transformation programme, providing support to the PMO manager with continuous improvement of processes and controls, in an Agile environment, on a large and complex platform migration.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Ensure portfolio compliance with the corporate Change Framework
- Facilitate programme governance forums
- Support the agile squads to ensure all related portfolio data remains accurate and up to date in our Programme PPM tool Azure Devops
- Work with the Programme Managers to ensure resource (supply and demand) is effectively maintained within the corporate PPM tool Clarizen
- Manage well-being health checks ensuring they are completed by all squads
- Analysis and interpretation of Programme data into easy-to-understand information for the management team
- Support the PMO team in the continuous improvement of all processes, tools and templates
- To support the identification of risks, issues and dependencies and ensure they are clearly articulated on the associated logs are maintained and up to date. Facilitate mitigating actions and management to closure
- To support the wider Programme Management team and PMO team with ad hoc requirements * Managing to onboarding offboarding process
- Administration of the PPM tool including creating and manipulating existing Dashboards and Work Items
- Support Programme Manager in resolving impediments
- Management of programme calendar
- Support and own pack creations for key forums including Steering packs
- Capture of minutes and actions for key forums * Own and manage the change control process
Candidates need the following experience to be considered for the position:
- 2 years experience of working on large complex programmes
- Sound knowledge of Project Management disciplines and controls
- An understanding and experience of working in Agile environments (preferred not essential)
- Knowledge of Azure Devops (preferred not essential)
- An understanding of project planning tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organised
- Ability to manage and engage with a wide range of stakeholders
