Your new role
Accounts Payable/Purchase ledger Clerk offered on a permanent contract.
This role is full-time, office-based and 35 hours per week with flexible working within the hours of 08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday.
What you'll need to succeed
Candidates will be familiar with working within a busy finance department and if that experience is with previous public sector/educational businesses then this will be of distinct benefit.
Knowledge of Sage 200 would be advantageous along with the ability/willingness to learn new systems.
General bookkeeping skills, invoice processing, reports for auditing, weekly BACS runs, reconciling of supplier statements, database management, petty cash and cash management.
Any VAT and/or partial exemption experience.
A bookkeeping or accountancy qualification would be of benefit, but not essential if proven, relevant experience within a similar environment has been gained.
