Meraki Accountancy & Finance's global client are looking to add a Senior Management Accountant to the team. The successful candidate will work as a key member of the group accounting team to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of global management and statutory accounts.
Key duties of the role include:
- Preparation and production of monthly and quarterly management accounts to challenging deadlines.
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Working closely alongside the Group Accounting Manager and Head of Finance in the annual budgeting process.
- Assist with the preparation of the annual consolidated statutory accounts including ownership of specific disclosure notes.
- Coordinate with the external auditors throughout the annual audit fieldwork process, to ensure timey response to audit queries and deadlines are met.
- Management and development of team of one Accounts Assistant.
Experience required:
- ICAS / ACCA / CIMA Qualified Accountant.
- Experience of working in a global firm to challenging deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a challenging fast paced environment.
- Experience of reviewing management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Good understanding of FRS 102 and statutory reporting.
