A leading environmental and geotechnical consultancy is seeking a Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant to join our dynamic and rapidly growing office in Greater Manchester
We're engaged in a broad spectrum of projects, including residential developments, renewable energy projects like solar and wind farms, and much more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and overseeing the preparation of Phase 1/2 Environmental Site Assessment Reports.
- Conducting and reviewing Mining Risk Assessments.
- Developing Remediation Strategies and Validation Reports.
- Performing Geotechnical Assessments, including bearing capacity and settlement calculations.
- Undertaking ground gas assessments, mining studies, and analyzing the significance of soil and groundwater contamination data.
- Managing and mentoring junior staff, ensuring the highest standards of work are maintained.
- Coordinating with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure project requirements are met.

Qualifications:
- A degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 or more years of experience in geo-environmental consulting..
- Strong technical skills in geotechnical assessment, environmental risk assessment, and remediation strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- A passion for environmental protection and improvement.
- Valid driving licence is required
