Are you a Receptionist looking to transition into the Education environment
Aspire People are currently recruiting for School Receptionists to work in the Birmingham and surrounding areas. You do not have to have specific School experience, but it would be advantageous. We are looking for candidates who are highly motivated with a friendly yet professional telephone manner.
These positions are an excellent opportunity to get experience working within a School if you haven't already and will give you the skills to move into a SIMS Administrator post.
You must be willing to work on a TEMPORARY basis and between the hours of 8:00a.m. & 4:30p.m. There will be full time and part time positions available throughout the School year which run for a variety amount of time.
There may also be an opportunity to move to a permanent contract within the Schools although this is not guaranteed.
As a School Receptionist your day-to-day responsibilities will include but not limited to:
« Welcoming students, guests and parents into the school
« Ensuring safeguarding processes are followed
« Answering telephone calls and filtering as necessary
« Responding to emails
« Letters to parents
« Typing of letters and memos
« Filing, faxing and photocopying
« Dealing with parents and pupils
You must be:

« Able to multi task
« Outgoing and have a friendly personality
