Up to £28,000 per annum.

St. Albans.

The ideal candidate will be driven and eager to learn and grow within a procurement/supply chain environment. Your desire to understand both processes and products will enable you to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process purchase orders and documents in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery, resolving any issues that arise.
  • Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and arrange for product samples.
  • Maintain positive relationships with existing suppliers and source new suppliers as needed.
  • Support the wider operational team to ensure the best service delivery to our customers.
  • Assist in managing stock levels in our warehouse and engineering.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Process returns for faulty or unwanted items within required timeframes.
  • Monitor procurement budgets and assist in cost-saving initiatives.
  • Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best options among potential suppliers.
  • Generate and analyse procurement reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in preparing reports for management review.
