Hays Senior Finance are working exclusively with this business based in Telford to recruit a Head of Finance for them.
Your new role
Reporting to the Managing Director and the group CFO, this Head of Finance job will be vital to shaping the structure of the business. This is a hands-on role that will oversee all the finance functions of the business and ensure all group reporting is completed to the highest level.
You will lead the finance team, and you will have full responsibility for the financial management as well as compliance and control of the business. The job is varied and will involve:
- Day to day management and implementation of financial strategies
- Overseeing financial strategies
- Continuously improve all aspects of financial operations and processes
- Develop and implement financial and commercial governance
- Overseeing financial reporting including; budgeting and forecasting
- Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial information and reporting
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate would be a hands-on accountant who would ideally be fully qualified, or equivalent, and have experience of managing a finance function.
