The Opportunity
Are you an Assistant Management Accountant looking for more variety and experience?
You'll be reporting directly to the head of finance and have close interaction with the senior management team and MD within this growing SME.
Your role is focused around production of the full monthly reporting pack - including P&L, BS, cashflow and commentary.
You'll be able to get stuck into budgeting, forecasting, year end stat accounts, project analysis and MI production, KPI reporting... all of the valuable experience that will allow you to progress to FC level in the next few years.
It's a down to earth SME in the construction / engineering type arena - you need to be comfortable speaking to operational managers / colleagues who are typically from a non finance background.
You need to be comfortable managing the business as usual demands of month end alongside ad hoc projects and requests for the MD / Head of Finance.

You will ideally:
- Be AAT or degree level qualified looking to complete CIMA or ACCA (full study support package is available)
- An experienced Assistant Management Accountant with a strong foundation of core accounting knowledge and experience (from industry or a regional firm of accountants).
- Confident in you IT / Excel skills.
- Able to manage your own workload with autonomy.
