SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Functional Analyst- 6 month contract Outside IR35- Must be eligible for SC Security Clearance
Our client a leader in Aerospace, Defence & Security is seeking an experienced SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Functional Analyst to join their team on a temporary contract basis. With an established SAP GTS system in their Helicopters division and plans for a roll-out in the Electronics division, this is an excellent opportunity to support, design, implement, and deploy SAP solutions to achieve defined business goals.
As an SAP Global Trade Services Functional Analyst, you will have a Global Trade Services-based foundation in SAP consultation. You will be responsible for delivering projects from design to completion, ensuring the achievement of required business outputs. In addition, you may provide coordination and supervision for team members, and you will have the opportunity to take ownership of and solve complex technical problems within your Global Trade Services speciality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritise work and time to deliver solutions to incidents, problems, change requests, and projects within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Analyse requirements, design and deliver solutions in collaboration with the business
- Provide support for migration projects as needed
- Customise and maintain master data in SAP GTS
- Utilise ABAP for debugging purposes
- Translate business requirements into solution frameworks/architecture
- Collaborate with business experts and technical resources to facilitate incident and problem resolution
- Maintain effective communication with business and project stakeholders
- Obtain acceptance for all deliverables from the business
- Ensure adherence to internal and external standards for all solutions
Requirements:
You must have:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as an SAP Global Trade Services Functional Analyst
- Experience in implementing SAP Global Trade Services as a Greenfield project or rollout to a new Company Code
- In-depth understanding of SAP Global Trade Services and ability to analyse new requirements and implement necessary systems changes
- Ability to work closely with Business Stakeholders as the SAP Global Trade Services Subject Matter Expert
- Previous experience working with ticketing systems such as Service Now & JIRA
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Nice to have:
- Experience in implementing SAP Global Trade Services as a Greenfield project
- Experience using SAP Global Trade Services integrated with Customs Declaration System
- Experience with Seeburger
- Experience with SD and MM
