Reception and Business Administrator

Salary: £12.50

Location: Borehamwood

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Duration 4 weeks cover

Our Client are an established reputable employer, a market leader in their field. They require a passionate and personable Receptionist to support the Office Manager with the running of a very busy, fast paced head office.

This role requires someone with sound knowledge of front of house, with the ability to take on additional administration tasks. the role is split 70% reception and 30% Administration which includes supporting the HR department.

The suitable candidate will be confident, approachable and willing to turn their hand to a variety of responsibilities to support a seamless head office set up.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering switchboard and directing calls accordingly
  • First point of contact for visitors
  • Managing booking system for meeting rooms
  • Taking responsibility of post and deliveries
  • First point of contact for facilities issues, logging maintenance and general office requests
  • Supporting Office Manager and HR department with various administrative tasks
  • Completing various spreadsheets and keeping log of certain information

  • 1 years experience in a similar role
  • Friendly, warm, approachable and well presented
  • Independent worker confident using own initiative
  • Able to take ownership of work and complete tasks efficiently
