Pertemps is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading design and manufacturing company based in Newport. They are looking for a reliable and organised Stores Person to join their busy and dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, check, and store incoming materials and products
- Pick and pack items accurately for production or dispatch
- Maintain accurate stock records using manual and digital systems
- Carry out regular stock checks and audits
- Keep the stores area clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards
- Liaise with internal departments regarding stock levels and requirements
- Assist with deliveries and loading/unloading of goods
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a stores, warehouse or stock control role
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using inventory systems and basic IT tools
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team
- Experience with Import & Export Logistics
