Job Title: Brand Manager

Location: Livingston

Hours: Full time Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm or Part Time 3 days per week

Salary: Competitive, based on experience and relevant qualifications

Benefits: 29 days holiday including public holidays and stakeholder pension

Job Summary:

The Brand Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing strategies that align with the brand's vision and goals. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the brand's presence in the market, including product development, advertising, customer experience, and public relations. The Brand Manager works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in brand messaging and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Brand Strategy Development:
  • Develop and implement brand strategies that align with company objectives and market trends.

  • Analyse market data to identify target audiences and define brand positioning.

  • Monitor brand performance and adjust strategies to ensure the brand remains competitive.

  1. Marketing Campaigns:
  • Plan, execute, and manage marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social media, print, etc.).

  • Collaborate with the creative team to produce engaging content that aligns with the brand's image.

  • Manage campaign budgets and track the effectiveness of campaigns through KPIs

  1. Product Development:
  • Work closely with product development teams to ensure products align with the brand's identity.

  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and preferences.

  • Oversee the launch of new products, ensuring they are introduced effectively to the market.

  1. Brand Consistency:
  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing channels and materials.

  • Maintain brand guidelines and educate internal teams on their importance.

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure the brand's voice is consistent.

  1. Customer Experience:
  • Monitor customer feedback and work with relevant teams to improve the customer experience.

  • Ensure that all touch-points of the customer journey reflect the brand's values and promise.

  • Develop strategies to enhance brand loyalty and increase customer retention.

  1. Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviour.

  • Analyse data to inform decision-making and measure the success of brand initiatives.

  • Present insights and recommendations to senior management.

  1. Quality Control:
  • Collaborate with Product Manager to issue procedures and regular analysis

  • Work cross-functionally with departments such as sales, finance, and product development to align brand strategies.

  • Analysis of quality control data

Desired experience:

  • Fashion and Textiles or Garment Technology qualification would be advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of brand management principles, marketing strategies, and consumer behaviour.
  • Proven experience in managing marketing campaigns and brand initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and project management.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Adobe, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Knowledge of the specific industry or sector in which the company operates.
  • Experience writing and checking editorial pieces.
  • Excellent attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
  • Driving licence and the ability to travel (UK and European)
