Job Title: PR Account Executive

Salary: £24k-£27k

Location: Chester - hybrid working, minimum 2 days in the office

Contract Details: Full-time, permanent position

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and implement integrated communications programmes for pharmaceutical and life-sciences clients, in collaboration with the director of communications and content and the leadership team.
  • Manage project plans and timelines, ensuring efficient and timely completion of clients' projects with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Carry out media outreach and social media activities as outlined in clients' strategies, effectively building and fostering relationships with the media.
  • Write press communications, award entries, and content marketing pieces, actively pitching to a range of business-to-business and general media.
  • Collaborate with leading media partners, including writers, editors, and publishers.
  • Play a key role in social media execution, creating compelling content and unique concepts aligned with clients' goals.
  • Build new relationships with the media to cater to clients' needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in PR, marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in PR, marketing, communications, or journalism.
  • Strong PR and journalistic writing capabilities.
  • Experience in media relations and media pitching is advantageous.
  • Understanding of social media tools and networks, including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Strong desire for growth and learning opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for industry shows and to meet clients.
