This business has a current global turnover of £3billion and UK turnover of £50million. As a Global Sponsorship and Partnerships Manager you will have a key passion for all aspects of relationship marketing.
You will manage the planning and activation of Brand sponsorships and partnerships, with a large focus within the sporting industry. The business have an existing strong, long-standing partnership with one of the largest football clubs in the world.
You will lead on the global strategy across the full brand portfolio with a focus on EMEA, AUS and US. You will have strong relationships, stakeholder management skills and the ability to challenge and inspire globally.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing high-profile sponsorships, partnerships, and collaborations on a global scale.
Key Duties of a Sponsorship and Partnerships Manager Include:
- Strategy Development - Develop and implement a comprehensive global sponsorship strategy aligned with the company's overall marketing and business objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including sponsors, partners, and external agencies
- Negotiate and manage sponsorship agreements, ensuring mutual benefits and compliance with contractual obligations
- Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of sponsorship activities, including events, campaigns, and activations
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of sponsorship initiatives
- Develop and manage the sponsorship budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI
- Analyse and report on the effectiveness of sponsorship activities, using data and insights to inform future strategies
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive activities, and market developments
Key Skills & Experience of a Sponsorship and Partnerships Manager Include:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sponsorship management, marketing, or business development, preferably on a global scale
- Ideally experience within the FMCG industry
- Proven track record in developing and managing high-profile sponsorships and partnerships
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
