Requirements
- Relevant teaching assistant, care, or childcare qualifications
- The ability to work with children who have various SEN needs
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or readiness to obtain one
- Willingness to learn and forge connections with students
- Ability to work with learners facing diverse learning challenges
- Good knowledge of the national curriculum
Responsibilities
- Providing teaching assistance to the teacher defined according to weekly/daily/seasonal planning of the teacher
- Supporting learners on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis
- Working with the teacher to support the learning objectives
- Monitor and assess student progress under teacher guidance
- Cultivate a warm, supportive environment that fosters safety and enjoyment in learning.
- Assist all students in their structured work across various curriculum areas
- Foster the general well-being of students within the school's framework
