Legal Office Manager
- Part-time
- 9am - 1pm, Monday to Friday
- Location: Weymouth
- Salary: £36,000 pro rata
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Manage administrative staff and delegate tasks as necessary.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and court dates.
- Maintain and update client files and legal documents.
- Handle correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail.
- Assist with billing, invoicing, and financial record-keeping.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support solicitors with administrative tasks and case management.
- Implement and maintain office policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an office manager, preferably in a legal setting.
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal software.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration or legal studies will be an advantage.
