Are you an experienced Procurement Manager looking for a new and exciting role within a leading business?

We are seeking a Procurement Manager to lead our procurement team, driving cost-effective supply chain initiatives and delivering year-on-year procurement savings. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and deployment of standard purchasing processes and policies, ensuring alignment with company policies and industry standards. This role requires a robust, process-driven approach and a continuous drive for improvement.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Collaborate with various departments to deliver cost-effective supply chain initiatives.
  • Design and deploy standard purchasing processes and policies, ensuring alignment with company policies.
  • Manage contracts to ensure compliance with industry and internal quality standards.
  • Drive improvement during the sourcing phase by managing suppliers, achieving cost objectives, and meeting quality expectations.
  • Conduct market analysis and provide management reporting to demonstrate compliance and target realisation.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain communication regarding timelines.
  • Manage inventory levels to support customer requirements while achieving financial objectives.
  • Maintain and support the central ERP System (Netsuite), including procurement processes and data.
  • Represent Procurement in internal meetings and communicate key activities and data.
  • Coordinate the procurement team, delegating tasks to ensure business needs are met.
  • Support the bid process, securing key commercial terms and mitigating risks.
  • Engage with Sourcing and Supply Chain organisations to maximise support and communicate updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • CIPS Qualification or equivalent Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years management experience in an established Procurement Function.
  • Strong financial and numerical skills.
  • Proficiency in contract formation and understanding of commercial contracts.
  • High-level attention to detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional negotiating, networking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to foster and develop strong supplier relationships.
  • Knowledge of standard Supply Chain Management processes.
