Interim Head of HR

This Head of People Operations and Change role works closely with the Director of People & Culture and specialist HR services teams within the business. The organisation is going through a transformation journey right now and this role will help deliver this programme.

The role is being offered on a 6 month FTC, based at their site in Cambridge, hybrid working at least 2 days a week on site, paying up to £75k FTE.

4 or 5 days a week are options for this role.

We are looking for someone to start in early September.

This role will oversee the teams working within HR business partnering, employee relations, reward and HRIS. You will have a deep understanding of a broad number of practices and principles relating to the specialist HR areas.

Experience of working within an organisation who has gone through change and transformation is key for the success of this role.

Knowledge and skills required:

  • You will be CIPD level 7 or equivalent.
  • Extensive operational HR knowledge within legal frameworks
  • People management experience ( lead a team of up to 7 people within in reward, ER and business partnering)
  • Strategic and logical thinker
  • Evidence of embedding change and championing transformation
  • HRIS project lead experience
  • Oversight of the reward, payroll and pension strategy and offering
