We are now looking for a Site Manager to join us in Andover on a full-time, permanent basis. Shifts operate work between 7am - 5pm and flexible working can be discussed.

The Role

As a Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the management of our Andover site, getting involved with everything from team leadership to plant mechanics.

Working closely with the Managing Director as their 'right hand', you will identify opportunities within the yard and improve our productivity, facilitating the growth and development of your team of six direct reports.

This is a varied and exiting role, where no two days will be the same. You will cover site management, machine and plant maintenance, people management, stock and workforce planning, compliance, and more!

You will also keep all onsite equipment maintained, ensuring repairs, maintenance and related documentation are all carried out efficiently.

Additionally, you will oversee incoming and outgoing product quality, waste permit management, and ensure H&S procedures are followed.

About You

To be considered as a Site Manager, you will need:

- Experience in site management, ideally a recycling or construction site
- Experience operating and maintaining machinery
- Experience of managing a labour team

Ideal candidates will have experience with balers, compactors, shredders, or similar machinery, but if you don't yet have tickets for certain machines, we will support you in getting these.

Other organisations may call this role Site Manager, Field Site Manager, Recycling Site Manager, or Site and Machinery Manager.
