We are excited to announce an opening for a Customer Service Administrator within our customer-facing client. This role is ideal for someone who can effectively understand and interpret industry data and communicate these findings to the customers in a clear and effective manner.

Customer Service Administrator

  • Salary: £27,000 per annum
  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Location: Ware, Hertfordshire
  • Office based

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage customer correspondence regarding metering information.
  • Analyse industry-recognised data flows, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues, especially those impacting customers and our performance.
  • Correspond with energy supply customers to resolve billing issues, explain problems, and manage Smart meter appointments.
  • Communicate with industry partners to resolve data issues.
  • Report to internal teams about metering-related matters.
  • Validate data to ensure its accuracy and process necessary data.
  • Understand how metering issues affect customers, their equipment, and billing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of professional office experience.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to clearly convey information to customers and industry partners.
  • Some understanding of the energy industry, specifically trading and settlement, is advantageous but not essential.
  • Proficiency in data validation and processing.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and issue resolution.
