Engineering Geologist

An exciting opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer, Engineering Geologist or Geo-Environmental Engineer in the North West has presented itself in an expanding ground investigation consultancy. With a specialist team of engineers and consultants, over 25 years in the industry, several offices nationwide (with more in development) and a variety of new projects won around Manchester, you'll be provided with excellent opportunities for engaging work and career progression.
The Engineering Geologist selected will be:
- Carrying out site/ground investigations.
- Soil and rock logging.
- Preparing phase plans and carrying out phase 1 Desk Studies.
- Writing factual and interpretive reports.
- Working on in situ testing.
- Training and assisting junior team members.

The Engineering Geologist selected must therefore have a minimum of a BSc in geology, engineering geology, environmental science or a relevant subject (MSc preferable), have prior experience as a geotechnical or geo-environmental engineer/ engineering geologist and have an ability to show enthusiasm for working outdoors in a hands on role. Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence, live commutable to Manchester and have a full right to work in the UK.
