My client in Berkshire is looking to appoint a talented Corporate TOM Business Analyst on a Contract basis.
This role will participate in the delivery of the Council's Recovery programme through identification and analysis of opportunities for service improvement and efficiencies.
About the role:
Based in Berkshire (Hybrid):
- Proactively work across the Council in implementing the key design principals of prevention and reduction of demand through customer/community enabling, automation of processes, improved access to services, etc.
- Support operational leads to develop end-to-end process reviews and redesign processes that lead to easier customer journeys.
- Critical to these end-to-end reviews will be to model and promote a "One Council" view, ensuring that dependencies with other functions/processes are recognised.
- Support the Recovery Programme Managers in developing the Council's recovery and focus on delivering corporate strategic projects.
About you: You will have the following experiences:
- Extensive experience in the analysis of Local Authority service functions.
- Ability to produce business requirement documentation including workflow diagrams, user cases and user stories, end-to end process reviews using value stream mapping (VSM) or business process reengineering (BPR)
- Ability to deploy relevant business and commercial knowledge and techniques including project and change management techniques, research methodologies, KPIs, standards.
- Local Authority experience is essential
