We're on the hunt for an exceptional Principal Data Architect to join a team that is spearheading a global project. This role is integral to driving their ambitious transformation programme, aiming to revolutionise the end-to-end experience for stakeholders through modernised systems and data-led digital asset development.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead the execution of comprehensive data strategies, translating complex business requirements into understandable and usable data models.
- Design and build high-quality data models and pipelines, leveraging the latest in cloud technology to align with our long-term business objectives.
- Spearhead the simplification of our data landscape, reducing tool redundancy and ensuring efficient data collection, management and utilisation.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and IT Enterprise Architects to align data and business strategies, fostering a culture of data-driven decision making.
- Manage and mitigate project risks, engaging with senior management to outline options, opportunities, and strategies for time, cost and quality optimisation.
What Experience You'll Need to Apply:
- Demonstrable expertise in Data Vault methodology and cloud technologies (Azure and/or AWS).
- Proven leadership in data migration and solution design on modern data platforms.
- Strong foundation in agile methodologies with a track record of working in a hybrid model.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Commitment to simplifying data systems and processes, backed by a history of successful project delivery.
