This role sits within our Private Sector FM business division that provides catering, cleaning, hard services, pest control, and security services to a wide range of prestigious clients, within the Lifestyle market.

About The Role:
Days of Working: Variable rota, four on four off rolling rota.

As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the security team to ensure the safety and security of the site. Reporting to the Security Manager, you will coordinate security measures, supervise security personnel, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Key tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all Control Room and site-based security operations.
  • Supervise and manage a team of security officers, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement security plans for events, including crowd control, access control, and emergency response procedures.
  • Monitor security operations during events, ensuring compliance with stadium policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with local security stakeholders and emergency services to ensure a coordinated response to incidents.
  • Conduct regular security inspections and audits to identify and address potential security risks.
  • Handle and resolve security incidents, including conflicts, medical emergencies, and evacuations.
  • Maintain accurate records of security activities, incidents, and investigations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests, addressing security-related inquiries and concerns.
  • Ensure all security equipment is operational and properly maintained.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging security threats.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to lead personnel engaged in security-related monitoring, warning and reporting tasks.
  • A working knowledge of security technical systems would be a strong advantage.
  • Confidence within IT and computer skills, in regard to gathering reports.
  • Diligent and organisationally competent.
  • Strong communication skills.
