Working with a renowned, global brand and seeking a proactive and confident Employee Relations Specialist to join on a six month FTC. The role is based in Watford, offering hybrid working and a great employee environment.

We have an exciting opportunity for a confident Employee Relations Specialist to join our client, a retail and tourism company based in Watford. This is a fantastic chance to join a well regarded, state of the art business with an excellent culture in a people centric environment

Key responsibilities

  • Proactively partner with client group to advise on all people related matters
  • Support business goals and objectives with people and organisational solutions
  • Support of day-to-day ER issues (sickness absence, misconduct issues & grievances)
  • Provide day-to-day support in HR general questions
  • Coordinate workshops for managers in line with changes in legislation
  • Support/organise HR training and events
  • Support stakeholders in performance management
  • Support the new starter process including inductions

Ideal experience:

  • Proven HR Advisor experience / Employee Relations Specialist experience
  • Minimum of 2 years operational HR Employee relations experience
  • Up to date Employment Law knowledge
  • Ability to take initiative, using own discretion and skills and work with limited supervision
  • Able to build good relationships with internal/ external customers and establish credibility quickly
  • Analyse data and convert in to concise reports
