Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Engineering Manager will provide leadership and management of the Engineering/Maintenance Department whilst supporting and developing a positive, high-performing, well trained engineering team.
Duties of the Engineering Manager will include:
- Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) – lean manufacturing tools are used to improve the reliability and efficiencies of all equipment and machines through close monitoring of OEE
- Lead engineering and installation projects from investigation stage right through to commissioning/completion
- Prepare, monitor and control an annual business plan and budget for the Maintenance Department
- Coach, mentor and develop all members of the engineering team to improvecapabilityand attitude
- Ensure that all engineering and maintenance processes are undertaken to the highest qualitystandards
- Research and develop new products, processes and equipment, and make recommendations for the improvement of existing products and services
- Maintain awareness of the current legislation andregulations
