My client is looking to strengthen their team with someone experienced in purchasing / procurement who can demonstrate experience in the following areas;
- Sourcing products and materials
- Sourcing, monitoring and managing suppliers
- Strong negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills
- Liaise with production to ensure availability of raw materials to suit production needs
With broad purchasing experience, you will ideally be a strong problem solver who has worked within engineering or manufacturing environments and understand the challenges of sourcing technical materials and components. Highly organised with good IT and MRP skills, you will be used to multitasking and working under pressure.
