Are you a passionate and experienced English teacher ready to inspire secondary school students? Join our dynamic school community in Hertford, Hertfordshire, as a Secondary English Teacher. We are seeking a dedicated professional who has experience teaching GCSE English and is ready to start in September.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging English lessons to secondary school students, with a focus on GCSE curriculum.
- Inspire a love for literature and language, fostering critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure academic success.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and motivated to learn.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on student progress and maintaining strong home-school partnerships.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching GCSE English in a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
- Ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment that meets the needs of all students.
