We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Management Accountant for a temporary position within our finance team. The successful candidate will be adept in using Sage 1000 and will assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting. This role is ideal for a proactive individual looking to apply their accounting knowledge and Sage 1000 expertise in a dynamic business setting.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with the reconciliation of accounts.
- Help ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial controls and processes.
- Utilise Sage 1000 for various accounting tasks and reporting.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support management decisions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Part-qualified or studying towards an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Experience in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency with Sage 1000 is essential.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
