Main purpose of the job:

To manage partner relationships and serve as dedicated point of contact for individually assigned partners.

The Strategic Partner Team is responsible for managing some of the largest and most valuable merchants within the business. This team will continue to play a key role in the growth of the business over the years to come.

The Strategic Partner Account Manager (SPAM) will build trusted relationships and act as interface between the partner and Trust Payments. They will hold the responsibility for maintaining and growing profitability of the assigned partners. This role will work closely with the Head of Strategic Partnerships to continue to shape the success across the team

Partner Account Manager - Key Duties:

  • Provide Executive Management with recommendations to ensure we remain a 'partner of choice' in our competitive landscape
  • Act as a liaison for our channel partners to enhance credibility, brand value and trust
  • Manage and nurture long-term relationships with existing and prospective partners
  • Support key business metrics including client retention, revenue growth and profitability
  • Collaborate with HOSP and Strategic Partner teams to define and deliver success criteria aligned with partner objectives
  • Work with HOSP to identify Partner engagement and PAM engagement drivers
  • Create new revenue through lead generation, sales enquiries, and prospecting
  • Provide expertise on payment processing, fraud management and payment security

technologies and advise on features and functionality to help customers execute strategies

  • Proactively engage new solutions for partners
  • Aim to meet 100% of quarterly targets

Partner Account Manager - Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience in strategic sales and customer relationship management
  • Payment sector sales background and/or related
  • Solid knowledge of merchant services platforms. Ecommerce and Moto Payments is a bonus
  • Consultative approach with the ability to become a trusted advisor
  • Energetic partner engagement with strong communication and negotiating skills
  • Able to combine trouble-shooting and creative problem solving
  • Proven success in a fast-paced role leveraging tools such as a customer service

ticketing system (e.g. Zendesk) and CRM (e.g. Salesforce)

  • You are organised, collaborative, detail-orientated and able to travel
  • Experienced with indirect sales channels, including resellers and sales partners
  • Results-driven contributor who drives performance through relationship-based business
