Senior Commercial Finance Manager

An international consumer brand operating across the UK, US and Asia is currently recruiting for a Senior Commercial Finance Manager.

Reporting into the Commercial Finance Director, this role will play a crucial role in driving financial performance across their operations. You will be responsible for managing and analysing operating costs, providing insightful financial analysis, and partnering with various departments to ensure effective cost management.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze and report on operating costs across the business, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
  • Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.

Cost Management:

  • Partner with operational teams to understand cost drivers and develop strategies to optimise expenses.
  • Monitor and control operating costs, ensuring alignment with budgeted targets.
  • Lead cost review meetings with relevant stakeholders to discuss variances and agree on action plans.

Business Partnering:

  • Collaborate with department heads and operational managers to provide financial guidance and support on cost-related matters.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the business, offering insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.

You will be a qualified accountant with previous experience in FP&A/Commercial Finance. Furthermore, ideally you would have experience having working for a consumer business along with strong systems (ideally Navision and Tableau).
