We are currently seeking a dedicated Porter to join our team on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent role upon successful completion of the temporary assignment. This role is based in the vibrant area of Pimlico, London, and offers a competitive hourly rate. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our services within a residential development.
Day to Day of the role:
- Coordinating and transporting linen around the development, which comprises approximately 100 units.
- Assisting cleaners by transporting items, especially when lifts are temporarily out of service.
- Performing various duties to support the seamless operation of business services, responding efficiently to customer requests.
- Ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and professional manner, maintaining the high standards of the development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar porter or logistics role is advantageous.
- Good physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling and transportation of items.
- Excellent organisational skills to coordinate linen and other items effectively.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with cleaners, management, and residents.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all duties are completed to the highest standard.
- Flexibility to take on a variety of tasks as required by the development and its residents.
