The Role

We are seeking a qualified Installation Electrician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial and commercial electrical installations and hold relevant certifications. This role involves travelling to various premises around the South West to work on large installation projects, minor repairs, and alterations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical installations in industrial and commercial settings.
  • Ensure all work complies with the 18th Edition of BS7671.
  • Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reporting (if qualified).
  • Interpret and execute electrical installation drawings and specifications.
  • Travel to different sites based in and around Exeter, with occasional overnight stays required.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety on all projects.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an installation electrician in the industrial and commercial sector.
  • Qualified or approved Electrician status.
  • 18th Edition certification advantageous.
  • 2391 Inspection and Testing certification advantageous.
  • ECS card required; ECS Gold Card advantageous.
  • IPAF or equivalent certification.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
