My client is seeking an experienced Office Manager with a can-do attitude and a background in administrative and problem-solving roles. The successful candidate will be adept at multitasking and prioritising in a fast-paced environment, with a strong, people-led personality. This role is integral to the daily workings of our company, requiring a concise understanding of confidentiality and a well-organised approach.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide administrative support to Directors and Managers, including drafting correspondence, taking minutes, and preparing reports.
  • Coordinate new joiner administration from offer letters to induction completion.
  • Manage training administration, maintain records, and monitor reviews.
  • Arrange DBS checks and ensure compliance with site certifications.
  • Support managers with annual appraisals, disciplinary, and grievance issues.
  • Offer HR guidance to senior management and employees.
  • Maintain organisation charts and employee filing systems.
  • Manage staff engagement tasks and communications.
  • Assist with Health and Safety documentation and ISO9001 Procedures Manual.
  • Conduct risk assessments and manage Health and Safety policies.
  • Oversee facilities maintenance and manage supplier contracts.
  • Ensure vehicle tax, services, MOTs, and insurance are up to date.
  • Liaise with leasing companies and staff regarding fleet management.
  • Manage IT asset register and liaise with IT support providers.
  • Coordinate company events and manage office supplies.

  • Proven problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong multitasking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient planning, organisational, and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work with people at various levels of the organisation.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • A hands-on approach and the ability to drive continuous improvement.
