Altum Consulting is proud to be working with one of the UK's leading learning disabilities charities, assisting them in recruiting a proactive Finance Application Support Analyst. You will play a crucial role in assisting the finance department by addressing system-related issues and maximising the utilisation of financial applications.
Job Details:
- Contract Type: Fixed-term for 9 months, full-time (37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday).
- Location: Flexible working options available; 1 day a week in the office, either in the London or Peterborough office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance the operational efficiency of all finance applications.
- Resolve system-related issues promptly to support the finance department effectively.
- Optimise financial applications to streamline business processes.
- Collaborate with external support partners for timely issue resolution.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to improve existing systems.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a systematic approach.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and adeptness in building effective relationships.
- Strategic thinker capable of developing business cases and project plans.
- Proficiency in Excel is essential; experience with PowerBI or similar analytical tools is desirable.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
