They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Planning Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning function and coordination of production schedules, ensuring optimal use of resources, and meeting customer demands efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production plans to meet customer requirements and company objectives.
- Coordinate with various departments (e.g., procurement, production, logistics, sales) to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to prevent shortages or excesses.
- Analyse production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Lead and mentor a team of planners, providing guidance and support.
- Collaborate with suppliers and customers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Manage demand and capacity planning to ensure production capabilities align with market needs.
- Work closely with the sales team to achieve accurate forecasts and align production schedules with sales projections.
- Prepare and present regular reports on production performance and planning activities to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning within the FMCG industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Leadership experience with a track record of managing and developing supply chain and planning teams.
