TPF Recruitment is excited to support a client located in Eastbourne with the recruitment of an Accounts Junior to join their successful, top 20, team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience while pursuing a qualification in accountancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Colleagues: Liaise with clients to gather information and communicate on routine matters.
- Audit Engagements: Provide assistance during audit engagements.
- Preparation of Accounts: Prepare accounts for limited companies and sole traders.
- Tax Filings: Manage business and self-assessment tax filings.
- VAT Returns: Complete and submit VAT returns.
- Client Liaison: Produce management reports and interact with clients.
- Reconciliations: Conduct bank reconciliations and balance sheet items.
- Bookkeeping: Undertake various bookkeeping tasks.
Requirements
Key Requirements
- Qualification Pursuit:
Keen to pursue an accountancy qualification (AAT) and demonstrate an eagerness to learn.
- Numerical Comfort:
A liking and comfort with numbers.
- Office 365 Proficiency:
Experience with Excel, Word, and other Office 365 applications.
- Attention to Detail:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Communication Skills:
Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
