Our client who focuses on innovation and accelerating smarter living and traveling within our cities are seeking a Business Analyst to join their Business Modelling & Market Appraisal Team. In this role, you will provide high-quality data analysis, qualitative research, reporting, and commercial and business intelligence on new technologies across several domains, including mobility and the built environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis: Conduct business research, analyse industry and market trends, and generate reports, briefings, presentations, and other project materials. Produce high-quality market research content, including market size forecasts, competitive information, challenge identification, and strategic recommendations.
  • Strategic Analysis: Perform market investigations to identify business needs and market opportunities, supporting the development of value propositions, business models, and route-to-market strategies.
  • Project Involvement: Contribute to all stages of projects, from proposal and bid content to project deliverables, working closely with CPC partners, including SMEs.
  • Business Model Evaluation: Guide business model evaluation and innovation, assessing feasibility, desirability, and viability.
  • SME Development Support: Participate in SME development activities, delivering business support to help SMEs grow and scale.
  • Cross-disciplinary Collaboration: Work on multi-disciplinary projects with engineers, data scientists, planners, modellers, software developers, environmental specialists, social researchers, designers, and various external stakeholders.
  • Deliver workshops, 1-2-1 sessions, and other business support activities to SMEs on market sizing, value proposition identification, and investment strategy.

Skills required:

  • Relevant Degree qualification or industry experience.
  • Experience of working in a commercial or business led environment.
  • In-depth understanding of research methodologies and/or strategic analysis.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Proven experience creating value propositions and designing business models.
  • Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
